BIG disappointment and I would not recommend anyone with Celiac or a serious gluten sensitivity go here (at least not to the Bucktown location, which is where I went). Feast was my first trip out for brunch after being diagnosed. I specifically chose it because the website showed a gluten free menu, including 5-6 brunch options. When I arrived, the host gave me the gluten free menu, but then pointed out nearly half of the items were no longer offered. And, it didn’t include any brunch options. I then asked my server about brunch options and she had no clue what gluten free meant. I don’t expect everyone to be familiar with this, but I would expect a restaurant advertising a gluten free menu to have knowledgeable staff, so this did not sit well with me. I remembered seeing chilaquiles on the website and asked about those, but it turned out the tortillas are cooked on the same equipment as flour tortillas, so they aren’t really gluten-free. I ended up ordering an omelet, forgoing the included breakfast potatoes after learning those were all contaminated. The server offered fruit as a substitute, which I thought was great until we got the bill and it turned out she charged me $2.50 for it. I wrote to the manager to complain about my experience afterwards and received no response. I will not be back.
If you are so inclined, you can see their gluten-free menu here. To their credit, they do at least include the disclaimer that flour is used in their kitchen so some items may have traces of gluten.
